What steel grades do you supply for boilers and pressure vessels?

Plate in ASME SA516 Gr.70 / EN 10028-2 P355GH, 16Mo3 and SA387 Gr.11 / Gr.22; tubes to ASTM A213 T11 / T22 / T91 and EN 10216-2; pipe to ASTM A335 P11 / P22 / P91; with matching ASTM A182 flanges and A234 fittings. EN 10204 3.1 certificates come with every order, 3.2 on request.

Can you supply pipe, fittings, flanges, gaskets and bolting as one package?

Yes. We match every item by material, wall thickness and pressure class, for example ASTM A106 Gr.B pipe with A234 WPB fittings, A105 flanges, spiral wound gaskets and A193 B7 / A194 2H stud bolts, and ship them together with one document package.

Which standards can you supply to?

ASTM, ASME and API, EN and DIN, GOST and AS/NZS, plus ISO. Equivalent grades between these standards are cross-referenced on request, for example SA516 Gr.70, P355GH and GOST 09G2S.

What is the difference between butt-weld, forged and cast fittings?

Butt-weld fittings (ASME B16.9) are formed from pipe or plate and welded into the line, from 1/2" to 48" and larger. Forged fittings (ASME B16.11) are machined from forgings for socket-weld or threaded small-bore, high-pressure lines. Cast fittings suit large bores, special shapes and threaded water and sprinkler service.

Do you supply sour-service materials?

Yes. We supply materials to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156, such as A193 B7M / A194 2HM bolting, API 5CT L80 casing and HIC-tested plate on request.

What certificates and inspection do you provide?

EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates with every order. EN 10204 3.2 certificates, third-party inspection, PMI, hydrostatic and NDT reports are available on request.

Which steel is used for shoe shanks and flat springs?

Shoe shanks are usually made from C67S, C75S or 65Mn strip, 0.8–2.0 mm thick, hardened to 35–45 HRC after forming. Flat springs use C67S / C75S strip, and constant-force springs and clips use 301 full-hard stainless strip.
