The Brazilian regulator CAMEX has imposed five-year anti-dumping duties on certain categories of stainless steel welded pipe from India and Taiwan.
The Indian and Taiwan stainless steel welded pipe investigation was conducted at the initiative of the local stainless product manufacturers association. For Indian companies, the rates range from $397.42 to $1207.76 per tonne, and for Taiwanese companies, the single rate is $1258.77 per tonne.
CAMEX has also extended tariffs on carbon steel pipes from China.
In particular, for Chinese products, the restrictions apply to oil and gas seamless pipelines that meet the American API standard, with an outer diameter of 5 to 14 inches. The duty rate for various Chinese companies ranges from $779.99 to $835.47 per ton.
